Palladium grew up on the land of the former barracks on Republic Square. The building includes shopping areas, services, restaurants, offices and underground garages. The architectural concept of the exterior sensitively combines and connects the historic barracks and riding hall (built in 19th century) with new parts. The integral part of the design was also the transformation of Republic Square into a pedestrian zone and direct underground connection between the new building and the metro vestibule.Read more
The construction works were preceded by an extensive archaeological survey. The most important monuments - the remains of three Romanic stone houses - were integrated into the layout of the new building.
